WIC Program
(Women, Infants and Children)
A supplemental food and nutrition education service for families who meet income and nutritional program requirements. Services are provided to pregnant, breastfeeding, post-partum women, infants and children ages 1 to 5 years. This program includes diet evaluation, height, weight, and hemoglobin assessment as well as nutrition counseling. WIC promotes breastfeeding in the community.
