Our Health Education team offers services in the schools ranging from Dental Hygiene classes in first grade to Life Skills classes in middle and high school.

LifeSkills is an evidence-based curriculum implemented when teaching topics such as conflict resolution and substance abuse. Teaching resistance skills has proven to decrease use of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco among students.

Other educational programs taught in schools are STD prevention, pregnancy prevention, and proper nutrition.

The Health Education team in collaboration with teachers and community leaders, is implementing the Developmental Assets curriculum in Carroll, Gallatin, Owen and Pendleton county schools.
