    DID YOU KNOW...
Nationally, 96% of adults feel they have properly installed the child passenger seats in their cars. However, upon inspection
7 out of 10 are improperly installed and/or the seat itself has been recalled by the manufacturer.

Locally, inspection sites throughout Northern Kentucky discover problems in more than 9 out of 10 installations. Is your child safety seat installed correctly?
Three Rivers District Health Department has certified technicians on staff. TRDHD provides convertible child safety
seats and booster seats to parents and guardians that live in the counties we serve. The technicians will demonstrate
correct seat installation and install the seats. Periodic safety inspection stations are also available at our local
health centers and during community events. If you are interested in this program, please contact your
health center and speak to your health educator.
