HIV SCREENING and
COUNSELING
Patients seeking HIV testing are given face-to-face pretest and post-test counseling by a qualified trained counselor. Blood tests are submitted to the state laboratory for testing.
Screening services are offered for other sexually transmitted diseases. Counseling is provided regarding reducing risk factors and condoms are available.
Visits for HIV testing may be done in one of two days. Services may be provided in confidential manner or be done anonymously meaning no medical record is initiated.
